Pearsall Methodist Church welcomes their new pastor, (Appointed effective July 2023) Reverend Abraham Ramirez and his wife, Gracie Vinton Ramirez, both former Pearsall citizens and Pearsall High School, 1976 graduates. They return to rejoin and serve the community, as the newly appointed Senior Pastor of Pearsall Methodist Church.
After graduating in 1976, Ramirez attended McMurry College, Abilene, Tx, and Gracie attend the Wintergarden School of Nursing, Dilley, obtaining her LVN. Ramirez later attended SMU in Dallas completing his theological education. He also attended Naval Officer School Newport Rhode Island being commissioned as a Naval Officer.
Pastor Ramirez has served both God and Country for 42 years. His pastoral appointments took him and Gracie to many places:

Ramirez also served as Director of Campus Ministry at the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, TX
Ramirez started out his naval career as a LTJG and completed his military service as a LCDR. Ramirez says although a Naval Officer he spent more times with the USMC, glady serving America’s finest!
